 today in class the teacher told us that we were going to read a poem titled "This is just to say" by William Carlos. the poem was about someone apologizing for eating someone else's plums, although an apology note was written towards the middle and end of the note it seemed like whoever wrote did what they did on purpose. we had a discussion as a class and we had all discussed and said similar but completely different things among the discussion the teacher had asked us if we thought the speaker had a relationship with whomever this note was intended for and some thought that they might have been siblings and others a married couple.
