in class we were working on a paper where we had to describe the neighborhood we grew up in and how it shaped us into the person we are today we also had to draw our answers to the questions that we were writing the information on
when taking the assessment i thought i was using the process of elimination correctly but as my results show i didn't so when everyone was done taking the assessment we went over the questions that more than half the class got wrong everyone had a different understanding to what each question was asking and even though each of us individually knew what we got the teacher still proceeded to congratulate those who did average or more than average probably making those who didn't score as high bad about themselves but then again it could be a lesson in life as one of the poems we read life is never easy but even then we shouldn't give up
as a class we read a poem that i hope different perspectives of what goes on around us as well as it was an understanding that some of us hadn't had before but as we went on to analyze and summarize the poem everyone said something different each that just put all of the puzzle pieces together into giving us as a whole little group the same kind of understanding what it could be like in other cities, countries, etc
my name is Alejandro my expectations this school year is to focus and make sure that i do and turn in all my work on time. I will also try to be able to make it to class on time and be as prepared as I can be. As for my goals this year i will try to accomplish something and if not I would accomplish something i have yet to achieve. I hope that i can get to understand different cultures in a little more detail. I would also like to learn interesting facts about cultures and i would like to have more respect towards cultures i couldn't quite understand.
