 in class we finished reading the play we learned that seven years passed and troy had died at some point during the time. lyons, gabe, bono and cory had all gathered at the house that belonged to troy to attend his funeral but cory tells his mother (rose) that he did not want to attend the funeral and rose responded that she did not want to here that type of conversation.

 in class we took an assessment about the play we have been reading and to summarize what the play was about is kind of difficult due to the complex setting and situations that happened within the play but from what i understood by the title and the play was that all though your parents are there doesn't necessarily mean that they have to like you but at least take responsibility for you and your siblings if there happen to be some and also how some of the parents react to most of the things that they do not have much understanding of for example in the play troy was always talking about putting up a fence and that could interpreted in many different ways

 in class we took note on how to write a formal essay and what would be considered informal. when talking about writing a formal essay the teacher said that it cannot contain slang, and contractions. a formal essay must contain complex sentences, sophisticated, and standard punctuation. formal essays are normally written when in a serious situation.

in class we read almost to the end of the play and we were told that if we haven't read in class as a class then we would have to catch up and read at home because the play is online. we didn't have much time all classes were shortened to thirty minutes so we only really had time to read what we had read.

 in class we continued to read the play and it seem like we are almost done reading we also discussed how after were done reading we are writing a literary essay in class we got some pointers on what to do and what not to do when writing the essay 

 in class we discussed as a class what we have read so far about the play and how we feel about what we know. so far we know that troy admitted to cheating on rose with the girl named alberta and we also know thaqt they are or were expecting a child. rose and troy had an argument about when he admitted it to her

 the teacher was not in class and we had an assignment which were questions about the play we have been reading we had to answer nineteen of the questions and we also used the book to find our answers or to at least to find words in the text that could help us start or end the answer

 today in class we took a short test as well as the other senior classes it was about an author and how she became in love with writing and reading in the passage I read that her family owns a library and we also turned in our character chart so i honestly felt like I was going to get at least an eighty on this short test but i ended up getting a low grade which makes me feel like I didn't try hard enough but also lets me know to practice my reading skills.

 in class we read more about the poem we read until we reached page 50 so far, we know rose, troy, bono, Lyons, and Alberta we have learned a lot about each and every one of these characters and to be quite honest the poem I'm somewhat interesting with all that has happened so far. we know that troy might be cheating on rose with Alberta and that Lyons is Troy's eldest son and he is married or has a girlfriend she works at a hospital and Lyon's doesn't have a job at the moment.

 in class we read more of the play we got introduced to a new character his name is uncle Gabe he is Troys brother we added more things about the characters on the chart that we made but also making a new chart and this time we talked about positive, neutral, and negative types of names or things to call anyone 

 in class we were talking about a play and we made a chart to write down characteristics about the characters that were introduced to first were rose, troy, and bono we also talked about when we start to read it everyone was get chosen to play a certain character we started reading it and didn't get too far along in the play before class ended 

in class we read a poem the title of the poem is " incident " it was written by Countee Cullen it was a short poem and it was about two eight-year-olds children and how one of them was on vacation and the other child was from Baltimore. and so the Baltimorean had called the child on vacation the n word with "er" at the end while poking out his tounge

 today in class we were going to start reading a book called fence but before that we had answered some questions and well it went well everyone in class were participating everyone had a different answer we were able breakdown the definition or the meaning of the title both in a literal and figurative sense

it was senior skip day most of the seniors were absent and we took a test that had and whoever wasn't there have a missing grade because they missed class and two or three of our classmate were moved. after finishing the test we had to finish our project and turn it on

 we had a project that is due by Friday it ids a jam board each one of us got a character that we had to make jam board about.

 a little summary of the first part of the story the characters that are named are Roy, john, Elizabeth (the mom), Paul (the baby), and sister McCandless and Aunt Florence these are the characters at the beginning of the story. after picking up where we had left off in the passage the story just kept getting interesting and we knew a little more about the rockpile and all the possible danger that may lay there.

      in class we started to read a short story. the title of the story is " the rockpile." we read a little bit of background of the author of the story and before we actually started reading the actual passage we talked as a whole class what we thought it was going to be about and some of the things said were interesting relatable to what today's times could be like we had ton stop reading because class time was over
